Fame The Musical Jr. is the Spring Production for Judson Theatre

(ELGIN, IL – March 2, 2020) Judson University’s Theatre program will present Fame Jr. as its spring production. The show, based on the hit musical and film, will take place at 7:00 p.m. nightly Thursday-Saturday, March 19-21, in the Thulin Auditorium in Thompson Hall (1151 N. State St., Elgin). There will also be a matinee show at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21.

It was also performed Off-Broadway at the Little Schubert Theatre on 42nd Street from 2003-2004. This energetic show, filled with dancing and song, follows a group of students from their freshman year through their senior year at a performing arts high school in New York City in the 1980s.

Tickets are available in advance through Eventbrite at . Tickets are also available at the door, cash or check only. Tickets are available now and cost $12 for adults, $5 for students, faculty and staff, and $10 for seniors, alumni and groups of 10 or more.

Judson University Choir to Tour Missouri for Spring Break

(ELGIN, IL – February 25, 2020) The Judson University Choir is preparing for a weeklong tour in Missouri from February 28 through March 8.

Petraeus to share insights from 37-year military career this October in Schaumburg

David Petraeus will keynote the ninth World Leaders Forum on Oct. 20 in Schaumburg. Petraeus served 37 years in the U.S. military, including as commander of U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, before being appointed by then-President Barack Obama as the director of the Central Intelligence Agency in 2011. In civilian life, Petraeus now serves as chairman of the KKR Global Institute, an investment firm, and holds various roles supporting veterans service organizations.
