This vegan superman ice cream is made with unprocessed healthy ingredients and superfoods like: blue spirulina, pink pitaya, and yellow curcumin. Yes and no. Here's the thing: If you make this recipe without an ice cream maker it will be very time consuming, but it can be done. If you're committed to your plant based health journey I would recommend you to two kitchen appliances that I use all the time: a Vitamix and an Ice cream maker. I honestly use my Vitamix at least twice a day (I'm not even kidding). It has honestly changed my life, and I could not recommend it enough. You will need a high speed blender for this recipe, so I would definitely recommend investing in a Vitamix.

I would also recommend an Ice Cream Maker, but only if you are truly committed to making whole foods plant based ice cream at home. If you choose to make this vegan superman ice cream recipe with an ice cream maker; all you need to do is blend the ingredients, color them, then add them to the ice cream maker. If you do not have an ice cream maker, but are still interested in making this recipe, there's a couple more steps. You will follow the directions as is until you get to the ice cream making portion. At this point you will pour the mix into ice cube trays and freeze. After they have frozen, you will add them to a blender and blend (one color at a time). You will that scoop each color into the pint and ta da: Superman ice cream!
